Frances Louise Farmer, 89, of Saffell, departed this life on Sunday, September 18, 2022. She was born in Marmaduke on November 13, 1932, to Clyde Farmer and Marie Hampton.
She was a homemaker who loved and enjoyed her kids and grandkids. She loved growing roses, going to church with her church family and visiting her neighbors.
Frances was a member of Jerusalem Church in Strawberry.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth McGhee, of Powhatan, Gary McGhee, of Pleasant Plains; her daughters, Ihrondia Carroll, of Lafe, Donna Martens (David), of Saffell, Lula Fike (Farrell) of Rosie; a sister, Nora Farmer, of Marmaduke; twenty-three grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billy George Farmer, sons, Anthony Dean Eckles, Carlos McGhee, and Elmer McGhee, and grandson, Nelson Eugene Carroll.
Graveside Service will be Friday, September 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Roger Randdle officiating in the Old Union Cemetery in Floral.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
