Michael Stephen Dale, 73, of Bonetown, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on October 4th, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born October 22nd, 1948, in Batesville, Arkansas to Doss and Emil Anderson Dale. He grew up in Bonetown and that is where he would settle down and raised his family.
Michael was a 1966 graduate of Melbourne High School. Following graduation, he went to work for the FBI, in Washington DC for a short time. He moved back to Arkansas and attended college at ASU before joining the United States Air Force for seven years. He worked as a carpenter before starting his career with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft, in 1988, which later became Boeing, where he would retire.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-four years and “the apple of his eye”, Jody Hutchins Dale; three daughters, Angie Wetzel (Chuck) of Melbourne, Arkansas, Valerie Wheeley (Kenneth) of Evening Shade, Arkansas, and Amy Dale Mashburn (Matt) of Cabot, Arkansas; one son, Michael Corey Dale of Bonetown, Arkansas; two granddaughters, Megan Franks (Luke) and Kayden Dale; three step-grandchildren, Isaac Mashburn, Olevia Wetzel, and Lindsey Wetzel; one great-grandson, Greyson Franks; four step-great-granddaughters, Skylar Franks, Kensley Franks, Ember Franks, and Lucy Linn; one brother, Dennis Dale of Bonetown, Arkansas. Michael is also survived by other family members and many friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Doss and Emil Dale; one step-grandson, Matthew Mashburn, JR.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 15th, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Sage Baptist Church in Sage, Arkansas.
