The North Arkansas Dance Theatre’s (NADT) production of “The Nutcracker” returns to the stage this season.
In a release, NADT noted this will be the theatre’s production of the classic Christmas ballet will feature a cast of over 100, from ages 5 through 65.
Performances will be Fri, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. and Sat, Nov. 19, at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at UACCB’s Independence Hall in Batesville. Tickets will also be available at the door, and all proceeds go directly to the non-profit organization, NADT. The tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for 11 and under.
This production of “The Nutcracker” will feature two guest artists from Texas Christian University’s School of Classical and Contemporary Dance. Abigail Robertson, a sophomore dance major, will be performing the role of Sugar Plum Fairy for the second year in a row. Mikey Sherrod, a senior dance major, will be performing two roles: Cavalier and Grand Duke of Winter.
