The Arkansas Highway Department of Transportation (ARDOT) closed a bridge on State Highway 56 in Izard County Tuesday morning.
According to a notice from ARDOT, the bridge is between Ash Flat and Franklin and is being closed in both directions due to structural issues found during a routine inspection.
