Kristi Lynn Upton, 66, of Southside passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at her home. She was born December 23, 1955, in Hayward, California to Everett and Maxine Jones Upton. She also attended First Church in Batesville. She enjoyed antiquing, gardening and being outdoors watching birds.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Upton and Ronald Upton.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Brown of the home; a son, Phil Allen (Cristie) of Batesville; two daughters, Lisa Reynolds (T.J.) of Quitman and Linda Allen of Batesville; two brothers, Richard Upton of Batesville and Pat Verfurth (Sandi) of California; two sisters, Laura Anderson (Tim) of California and Lisa Verfurth of Oregon; seven grandchildren, Dawson Allen, Gavin Allen, Gracelyne Reynolds, Gage Rommel, Peyton Allen, Tucker Reynolds and Harlie Rommel as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:00 AM at First Church of Batesville with Rev. M.D. Parmley, Rev. Johnathan Abbott, Rev. Pat Verfurth and T.J. Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Kyler Cemetery in Southside.
Pallbearers will be Dawson Allen, Alvin Caudilla, Peyton Allen, Anthony Millyard, Gage Rommel, Gavin Allen, Tucker Reynolds and Thomas Upton
