Norma Ring, age 100, of Cave City, AR formerly of Evening Shade, AR passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at her home. She was born January 22, 1922, in Emery, AR to George and Nova Crigler. She was a teacher for many years with a love of Home Economics. She was of the Baptist faith. Norma enjoyed sewing, and cooking and loved spending time with her great-granddaughters.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifton Ring; one son, Robert Ring; and one infant brother.
Survivors include her son Gary Ring (Sherry) of Saffell; one grandchild, Chad Ring (Angela) of Cave City; two great-granddaughters, Lexi Hamilton (Cody) of Cave City and Tia Ring of Cave City; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Hutchison officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery on Highway 58 with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hansen, Ricky Ring, Donzie Spurlock, Noble Crigler, Tim Brown and Cody Hamilton.
The honorary pallbearer is John Way.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in care of the Bank of Cave City.
