Jason Robert Cox, 46, of Southside, departed this life on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He was born on April 27, 1976, in Gainesville, Missouri to Trina Cox.
He will be remembered as a sincere loving person who loved his family very much. During his younger years, he spent much time with his uncle camping and fishing. He loved fast cars and had some training in becoming a pilot.
Jason is survived by his sons, Payton Dowell, of Batesville, and Jase Brooks of Michigan; brother, Scott Wiltrout, (Shayna Edwards), of Centerview, Missouri; uncles, Tony Cox (Christina), of Salado, and Tim Cox, of Southside; several nieces; nephews; and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, sister, Starla Gail, and grandparents, Bob Cox, and Ruby Vanpelt.
