Carey Lynn Hall, SR., 60, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, departed this life on December 1, 2022, at John L. McClellan VA Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Carey was born on August 10, 1962, in Newport, Arkansas. He attended Newport High School. He served in the United States Army and the United States Marine Corp.
Carey was a friend to many and found joy in helping others. An enthusiastic traveler, he visited all fifty states and several countries. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He enjoyed amusement parks and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Carey is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Alneda and Clemmie Fair; his brother, Clarence “Jim Dandy” Hill; his daughter, Charity Hall; his granddaughter, Olivia Smith and a special uncle, Tony Miller.
Those left to cherish Carey’s memory are his father, Y.M. Livingston, SR. of Newport; his daughters, Brandi Hall of North Little Rock and Desiree Graves of Bryant; his sons, Carey Lynn Hall, JR. of Jacksonville and McDavid Hall of Queso City, Philippines; his grandchildren, Zhania, Jakobe, Anias, Desmin, Zahara, Zeba, Jordan, Jule, Dalton, Brylee, Cydney, Quin, King, Cassandra and Vria; great-granddaughter, Makaria; his sister, Vanitta Armstrong of Atlanta, Georgia; his brothers, Y.M. Livingston, JR. of Newport and Calvin Bailey, SR. of Newport; his aunt, Georgetta Stubblefield of Newport and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.
