Obituary: Betty Sue Clements

Betty Sue Clements, 75, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 11, 2022. She was born in Tuckerman, AR on June 17, 1947, to the late Robert and Luler (Boaz) Baker.

Betty had a big heart and loved everybody. If she saw you around town you were guaranteed that she would come up and give you a big warm hug. She always did what she could to help others, even after getting put on disability, she continued to donate her time volunteering at various organizations around town. She loved fishing, hunting, gardening, canning, going to garage sales, her Church family at the First Assembly of God, and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, J.R. Clements of Batesville, AR; sisters, Ann Bell Baker of Batesville, AR, Pat Reed (Danny) of Kensett, AR, Rita Sutterfield (Roger) of Tuckerman, AR, and Cheryl Baker of Hickory Ridge, AR; brother, David Baker of Kensett, AR; granddaughter, Ashli Carson (KC) of Heber Springs, AR; grandsons, Seth Pounder of Newport, AR, and Chris Martin of Tuckerman, AR; and great-grandson, Braydyn Crabtree of Batesville, AR. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond and Bobby Baker; and sister, Brenda Baker.

No funeral services will be held per Betty’s request. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. The family requests that donations are made to Family Violence Prevention in Batesville, AR.
