Citizens Bank, headquartered in Batesville, has announced the promotion of Aaron Herndon (pictured) to Assistant Vice President Consumer Loan Officer in the lending department.
“Aaron has always been a key leader here at our headquarters,” said Jeffrey Freiert, Batesville city president. “His knowledge and expertise will continue to play an integral part in the bank’s lending team in this new role.”
Herndon, previously assistant vice president retail branch manager for Citizens Bank, takes on a new role in providing consumer lending and consumer real estate lending to customers.
“I am excited for this new role as I expand my knowledge in consumer real estate lending to help provide the services to our customers,” said Herndon. “Citizens Bank continues to be a great place to grow, learn, and serve.”
Herndon attended the University of Arkansas Community College in Batesville and received a degree in business services with a focus in banking and finance. He also graduated from the Paul W. Barret, Jr. Graduate School of Banking in Memphis.
Active in the community, Herndon is a member of the Batesville Area Arts Council and an ambassador for the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce.
