Bettina Christian Patterson, 41 of Newport departed from this life Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Unity Health in Newport. She was born December 4, 1981, to Clarence Edward Ruffins and Mae Irish (Williams) Ruffins.
Bettina was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed cracking jokes, visiting parks and spending time with her family. She also loved cooking, watching movies and doing arts and crafts projects. She could often be found fellowshipping with her brothers and sisters and studying her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Milford Williams and Jessie Mae Williams, Zaniel Ruffins and Lorine Ruffins.
She is survived by her parents; her husband of 16 years, Brian Patterson Sr.; her son, Brian Patterson Jr.; her brothers, Clarence Demond Ruffins of Jonesboro, Jeremy Ruffins of Jonesboro and Alex Ruffins (Adriana) of Jonesboro.
The memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Clemons Sr. officiating.
