Obituary: Wesley “Andy” Scribner

Wesley “Andy” Scribner, 58, of Batesville passed away on December 17, 2022.

He was born February 6, 1964, in West Helena, Arkansas to Leroy and Janie (Bishop) Scribner.

Andy graduated from Sulphur Rock High School in 1982 and graduated from Kenneth Copeland Bible College in 2020. He was a member of Eagle Mountain International Church and Faith Life Church. Andy was a jack of all trades, a full-time ambassador of Jesus Christ and was always willing to help others. He was obedient to the Lord, compassionate and never met a stranger. Andy farmed and did construction work all of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Becky (Spicer) Scribner of the home; mother, Janie (Bishop) Scribner; children, Wes Scribner (Amanda) of Batesville, Brett Scribner of Batesville, Trey George (Mistie) of Mountain Home, Kourtney Murray of Conway, Dylan Scribner (Pamela) of Batesville, Barbie Scribner of Newark, Katie Scribner (Kobe) of Paragould; three brothers, Terry Scribner of Magness, Phil Scribner (Shannon) of Altus, Dan Scribner (Candi) of Batesville; one sister, Belynda Harris (Rodney) of Batesville; seven grandchildren, Brayden, Lilly, Aubrey, Kyser, Kinslee, Khloe and Ezra, as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Pallbearers are Terry, Phill, and Dan Scribner, Matthew Bible, Danny Gates, and Logan Vest. Honorary pallbearers are Rodney Harris, Dennis Berger and the Rid-Out lumber crew.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 26, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Wes Scribner and Brian Combee officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eagle Mountain International Church, 14355 Morris Dido Newark Rd, Newark, TX 76071.
