Ethel F. Blake, 83, of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, in Batesville, Arkansas. Mrs. Blake was born on Wednesday, November 30, 1939, in Onia, Arkansas to the late Ulis Fletcher and Bonnie Lawrence Fletcher. Ethel was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are three granddaughters, Geneva Nichols (Steven) of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, Stacy Maple (Greg) of Southside, Arkansas, Hannah England of Southside, Arkansas; nine great-grandchildren, Michelle Headley, Isaac Nichols, Joseph Nichols, Rachel Nichols, Tyler Inloes, Brian Inloes, Heather Inloes, Jordan Inloes, Madalyn Maple; seven great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeraldine Mitchell of Mountain View, Arkansas, Eathal Mae Lawrence of Calico Rock, Arkansas and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ethel is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of thirty-five years, Donald Ralph Blake; three daughters, Bridget Blake, Donna Blake, Judy Blake; grandson, Charles Inloes, Jr.; great-grandson, Caleb Nichols and three brothers, Afton Fletcher, Albert Fletcher, Lorn Fletcher.
A graveside service for Ethel will be 2 PM Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Pordue Cemetery near Onia, Arkansas. Brother Steven Nichols will officiate.
