Helen Rae White, 92, passed away on December 27, 2022. She was born in Bethesda, AR, on March 18, 1930, to Carl and Leona Quearry.
Helen was a devoted member of the Bethesda Church of Christ for over fifty years. She was also an incredible cook; and passed on her knowledge and delicious recipes to her friends and family. When she wasn’t entertaining, she could be found doing crossword puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune, or tending to her beautiful gardens. But most of all, she loved spending time with friends and family and hosting get-togethers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Quearry and Leona (Howard) Quearry; loving husband, Junior White; brothers, James Queary and Tommy Quearry; and sisters, Linda Fairchild, Nettie Moser, and Jean Carlson. She is survived by her son, Jerry White (Rebecca) of Bethesda, AR; daughter, Shirley White of Conway, AR; brother, Melvin Quearry of Batesville, AR; sisters, Nell Massey of Batesville, AR, Louise Ethridge of Batesville, AR, and Brenda Mead of Batesville, AR; grandchildren, Alicia McAnally (Dustin) of Batesville, AR and Jessica Mills (Sawyer) of Springfield, Missouri; and great-grandchildren, Kate McAnally and Kassi McAnally.
A memorial service, officiated by Austin Dowell and Randy Rowe, will be held at Bethesda Church of Christ on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 10 a.m.
Please send flowers to Willis Funeral Service. Donations can also be made to the Salvation Army.
