The Arkansas Advocate’s Hunter Field has a re-cap of the Arkansas 94th General Assembly’s third week.

Last week began with the Senate’s passage of a bill to restrict drag shows the same as strip clubs and porn shops, and it ended with a hearing over a school bathroom bill.

In between, however, Field notes the House and Senate have started passing legislation that gets less attention, but will also still affect Arkansans for years to come.

Issues discussed involved the distribution of funds from the American Rescue Plan, vehicle registration deadlines, and teacher pay.
