It’s time for another round of brave participants to make a splash in some ice-cold water as the Batesville Polar Plunge returns to the Batesville Aquatics Center, Saturday, Feb. 18.

The event features teams and individuals brave enough to plunge into the chilly waters of the aquatics center’s pool. Participants are sponsored, with proceeds going to Special Olympics Arkansas.

On-site registration for the 2023 Polar Plunge begins at 10 a.m., and the plunge begins at 11 a.m.

Special Olympics Arkansas Area 16’s Ebony Brown (pictured) recently visited with Arkansas 103.3’s Wes Gwaltney on an edition of the Slightly Scrambled morning program about this year’s event. Listen to her conversation with Wes below.
