Sheila Pauline White, 64, of Newport departed this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. She was born on March 5, 1958, to Roy and Pauline (Stephens) Jackson.
Sheila was a fun-loving happy person who had a great sense of humor. She loved being outdoors by a bonfire, looking for deer, or fishing in her favorite spot. One of her favorite things to do was play with the children in her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jimmy Clemons.
She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Gary White; her son, Jerry White (Andrea) of Newport; her granddaughter, Mercedes White of Jonesboro; her grandson, Hunter White of Jonesboro; her great-granddaughter, Rylan White; her sisters, Linda Frost of Diaz, Omega Williams (Jim) of Newport, Bonnie Clemons of Newport; her brother, Bobby Clemons (Thelma) of Searcy; her nieces, Melanie O’Banion (Shane) of Newport, Jeannie Long (Greg) of Grubbs, Ashley Stevens (Timmy) of Newport, Mary Robinson of Newport, Amanda Mitts (Payton) of Newport, Erin Bright (Jordan) of Tuckerman, Shae O’Banion (Oshae) of Tuckerman; her nephews, John Clemons (Jamie) of Searcy, Robert Wilmans of Newport; her great nieces and nephews, Josie Mitts, Luke Mitts, Walker Stevens and Liam Pruitt and a host of many other family and friends.
Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 12, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
