Michael Lewis Gossett, 52, passed away on February 10, 2023. He was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, on October 28, 1970, to Johnny and Mary Gossett. He married the love of his life, Cindy Gossett, in 2001.
Michael was a hard-working and caring man. He also loved to joke and pick on his friends and family, but all out of love. Michael worked as an industrial engineer for over 20 years. Even outside of work, he loved to tinker with any mechanics, especially on cars. He also loved fishing, and his dog, Johnny. But most of all, Michael enjoyed being with his friends and family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend whose memory will be cherished by those that loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Gossett, and step-father, Larry Gentry. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Cindy Gossett; mother, Mary Gentry; son, Deaven Manley; daughter, Lacie Manley; brother, John Gossett (Angela); grandchildren, Reagan Manley, Olivia Manley, and Collie Manley; brothers-in-law, Casey Beasley, Keith Beasley (Betty), Shannon Beasley; sister-in-law, Tonya Beasley; nephew, Jonathan Gossett; and nieces, Sarah Gossett and Rachel Gossett.
A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
