The Rotary Club of Batesville is currently seeking nominations for its Outstanding Community Service Awards.
According to a release from the Batesville club, the award honors “…persons who are making significant contributions to our community through their time, actions, talents and dedication. The honoree selected should serve as a role model for compassion, and service and be striving to make our world a better place with a passion for helping others in our community.”
The release said that awards highlight:
- people who have made a dramatic impact on our community;
- someone who has gone the extra mile to help improve someone’s quality of life;
- healthcare workers – going beyond the call of duty; and,
education workers – going out of their way to support students.
The winners will be awarded at the Annual Rotary Award Banquet.
