Jerry Dean Sutton, 87, of Mountain View, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
Jerry Dean was born on Sunday, December 1, 1935, to the late James Edward Sutton and Rosielea (Collins) Sutton in Kahoka, Arkansas.
Jerry Dean was a kind man who loved his family deeply. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Jerry was a mighty deer hunter. He savored every moment spent in the woods hunting. Jerry was a master of all trades and built two homes that he and his wife lived in through the years. Jerry Dean loved to take his wife Etta out dancing. Jerry and Etta were married on December 1, 1984, and spent thirty-nine beautiful years together.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Etta Sutton; two stepdaughters, Gwendolyn Yvette (Ronnie) Jones, Carla Rachelle (Jeff) Edington; a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Sutton Jr.; sisters Marjeta Brown and Dorothy Craig; and a host of friends and family who will miss him dearly.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, James Lester Sutton and Tony Wayne Sutton; one grandson; brothers, Jay W. Sutton and Lyndal Sutton; sisters Francis Barham and Roberta Branscum.
Visitation will be held at Foothills Baptist Church, Saturday, March 25, 2023, 12:00 pm-1:00 pm.
Funeral Services will also be held at Foothills Baptist Church, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Bickles Cove Cemetery at Mountain View, Arkansas.
