A grocery store chain is prepping a new location to serve the Batesville area.
On its website, the chain ALDI has announced a location at 23 Eagle Mountain Blvd., the former site of a Stage department store in Batesville. The news came in the form of a job notice for a full-time assistant store manager at the new location that was posted on the chain’s site. The notice said the store is projected to open in August.
Work has been ongoing at the location in the Eagle Mountain Shopping Center since the beginning of March. The former Stage store has been gutted, and the frontage has been removed to make way for the new ALDI.
