Billy Don Malone, 81, of Charlotte passed away Friday, March 24, 2023, at his home. He was born March 29, 1941, to Robert and Nettie Malone.
He was a hard worker who always provided for his family. He retired from ConAgra after 15 years of service in maintenance. He gained many good friends there. He loved working on old cars and drag racing. He was so very talented and taught his kids and grandkids many of his talents. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Leon Malone and a sister, Shire Haley.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Patsy Malone of the home; a son, Kenny Malone of Cave City; twin daughters, Teresa Landers (Brian) of McRae and Lisa Davis (Tim) of Cord; one sister, Faye Cole (Sonny) of Sidney; a grandson, Spencer Landers (Rebecca) of Letona; two granddaughters, Baylee Landers of McRae and Skylar Weatherley of Searcy; his sister in law, Sharon Malone of Illinois as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends, which he loved dearly.
