A regional EMS service will mark its 40th anniversary in service with a gala celebration.

Vital Link EMS will host the event Friday, May 19, at Lyon College Edwards Commons in Batesville. The doors will be open at 6 p.m. with drinks, and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

The celebration will be held before National EMS Week, which is scheduled for May 21-27.

The Speakeasy Rock Band, featuring Christian Baxter on vocals and Chris Wilson on drums, will provide entertainment at the gala, which Vital Link says is “…a celebration for the employees as well as the entire community. All are welcome to attend, including present and past board members and friends.”

Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here; by emailing info@vitallinkems.org; or by calling the business office at (870) 793-3351. A portion of every ticket sold will be designated toward the education of paramedic students attending UACCB’s Paramedic Program. The attire is black tie and blue jeans.
