Rebecca Ann Hampton, 63, of Batesville passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in Batesville. She was born March 22, 1960, in Batesville to Judson Elmer Hampton and Lela Faye Lee. She loved listening to her classic rock and oldies music, playing guitar as well as writing songs and poetry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bobby Ray Hampton; two sisters, Virginia Mae “Meter” Hampton and Lois Jean Hampton; paternal grandparents, Clead Hampton and Myrtle Pate Hampton; maternal grandparents, Charlie Lee and Cecile Mae Carey Lee and many other extended family members.
Survivors include two brothers, Larry Hampton (Sandy) of Batesville and Charles Hampton (Darlene) of Judsonia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
