Mountain View native and comedienne Pat Cash (pictured below), also known as “Aunt Minnie Miles,” entertained the crowd as the featured speaker for the 2023 Red Hot Ladies Luncheon, held today at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville.
This was the 17th year for the luncheon, which is presented by Citizens Bank.
Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit White River Health’s Women’s Clinic, whose mission is to provide quality healthcare to improve the health of their communities through obstetrics and gynecology care.
Since its inception as “The Go Red for Women” luncheon in 2006, this series of ladies’ events has raised approximately $160,000 for various non-profit organizations that serve the health-related needs of women and their families in Batesville, Independence County, and the surrounding communities. The luncheons serve to raise awareness about issues impacting the lives of women and inspire them to make positive changes and commit to a healthy lifestyle.
