The Arkansas Folk Festival is underway in Mountain View.
Festival events, sponsored by the Mountain View Area Chamber of Commerce, will include live music and craft vendors on both days. On Saturday, there will be a parade on Main Street at 10 a.m. with floats depicting historical scenes.
Mountain View Mayor Roger Gardner (pictured, left) and Ron Haines dropped by the Arkansas 103.3 KWOZ studios this morning to visit about the Folk Festival as well as perform some tunes.
