Citizens Bank, headquartered in Batesville, has announced the promotion of Mark Owens to senior vice president, commercial lending.
“Mark’s experience and extensive background in agricultural practices and lending provides an exceptional value and service to the businesses, farms, and families he serves,” said Citizens Bank Regional President Micah Beard. “Mark is known to embody the bank’s People First mission throughout the community, and his leadership has proven to be an integral element of the bank’s lending team.”
In this new role, Owens (pictured) will lead the servicing and support of the growing customer base of agriculture and commercial customers.
“This role will allow me to deepen the relationships and service opportunities offered to the agricultural community,” said Owens. “I am excited to be part of the team at Citizens Bank that invites customers to pull up a chair and discuss their banking needs.”
Owens earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Central Arkansas. He resides in Batesville with his wife, Lori, and daughter, Hanna. He attends Compass South Church.
