Dianne Carroll Fields, age 61, passed away on April 26, 2023, at her home in Grubbs, Arkansas. Dianne was born on October 20, 1962, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Jerald and Lacy Sharp. She was raised in Jonesboro and graduated from the local high school. Dianne was a devout Baptist and a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Dianne had a great love for yard sales, thrift store shopping, and working at Goodwill. She had a keen eye for finding hidden treasures and would spend hours browsing through various stores to find something unique. Dianne’s grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and they affectionately called her “Grammy.” She loved spending time with them and making them feel special.
Dianne was preceded in death by her mother, Lacy Sharp. She is survived by her father, Jerald Sharp of Jonesboro, her husband of five years, Jim Fields of Grubbs, her daughters Tisha Dudley and husband Bennett of Bono, Shawna McLaughlin and husband Kyle of Grubbs, one son, Jimbo Fields (Kylie) of Grubbs, two brothers Lynn Sharp and wife Judy of Jonesboro, Ronnie Sharp and wife Lauri of Benton, and three grandchildren Shelby Clark and husband Andy of Oak Grove, KY, Calvin Fields of Grubbs, and Ailey Fields of Grubbs.
Dianne’s family will remember her as a loving and kind person who was always willing to lend a hand. She had a gentle spirit and a warm smile that could light up any room. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In accordance with her wishes, Dianne will be cremated, and there will be no services held. Dianne’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever. Rest in peace, Dianne Carroll Fields.
