Jeannie (Brumley) Edwards, 78 of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Thursday, April 27, 2023, at her home. She was born November 17, 1944, in Kennett, Missouri the daughter of L. H. and Erma Katherine (Carter) Brumley. Her parents preceded her in death, also one brother, Joe Brumley. Jeannie married Mr. James Edwards on December 22, 1964, and they have enjoyed fifty-eight years together. She was a homemaker, a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, and enjoyed cooking and working with flowers. Jeannie also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, James Edwards of the home in Harrisburg, one son, Scott (Rochelle) Edwards of St. Louis, MO, one daughter, Theresa Lee (Donnie) Pippinger also of Harrisburg, one brother, Terry Wayne Brumley of Kentucky, two sisters: Darlene Beasley of Georgia and Linda Faye Hutchism of Florida, three grandchildren: Camden Bryant, Lauren Dorman, and Mackenzie Edwards Thomas, and 6 great-grandchildren: Rudy Bryant, Sylas Bryant, Lilly Dorman, Laney James Dorman, Brooks Dorman, and coming Baby Thomas. Bro. Terry Tacker and Bro Gary Henson will conduct the service. Visitation will be Monday ~ May 1, 2023, from 12:00 until service time for friends at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 P. M. in Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye, Arkansas.
