Ronnie Roy Lampton, 69, of Batesville, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023.
He was born May 6, 1953 in Coloma, Michigan to Roy E. Lampton and Johnnie (Yarberry) Lampton.
Ronnie was a devoted husband, father, grandparent, and friend. He loved to spend time with his boys. Ronnie was a member of the Pipeliner Local Union 798 for 50 years and went on to inspect on the pipeline for 11 years after retiring. He spent his days with family and loved ones. He enjoyed his cows and watching his westerns.
Survivors include his wife, Karl (Heigle) Lampton of 48 years; three sons, Shane and Nikki Lampton of Batesville, Jason and April Lampton of Cave City, Nathen and Elizabeth Lampton of Locust Grove; two brothers, Jay Lampton and Bobby Lampton; three sisters, Shirley Cole, Marilyn McClough, and Sue Walker; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lonnie Lampton and Birdy Lee Lampton.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Cave City First Assembly of God under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Bobby Sanders officiating.
