Rex Williams (middle) was recently thanked by Citizens Bank (Ashley Engles, left, and Nathan Stephens, right) for his outstanding service to the community.
Williams has picked up roadside trash across Independence County for six years as a free service to residents in the area. He invests his own money into helping keep this part of Arkansas clean and beautiful.
His records show that from the end of April, he has picked up almost 600 bags of trash, over 150 tires from the streets, and walked 134 miles.
Williams is a picture of Citizens Bank’s People First mission, and to thank him for his service, the bank contributed trash bags, a gas card to Hawgs Exxon, and a People First t-shirt to his work.
