Wallace Wayne Hightower, 66, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at his home in Batesville. He was born May 28, 1956, to Ralph Hightower and Alma Freidath Rorie in Batesville. He was a security guard and a Drum Major for the Lyon College Pipe Band. He enjoyed the Scottish Festival, making walking sticks, Civil War re-enactments, walking in the woods, reading, drawing and loved music. He was also a Captain in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Russell Hightower
He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Angela Shipp Hightower of the home; his daughter, Elizabeth Hightower of Batesville; his brother and sister, Jeff Hightower and Jean Hill Ross both of Batesville; two grandchildren, William Lamme and Zachariah Lamme; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bobby Shepherd officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
