Leticia P. McLeod also known as Lety, of Cave City, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023, at her daughter’s home in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 66. She was born September 14, 1956, in Gutierrez Zamora, Mexico to Facundo Perez and Conception Marin. She was retired from Cave City School where she worked as a custodian for several years. Lety enjoyed listening to music, crocheting and sewing. She also loved to spend time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 20 years, Calvin McLeod; one sister, Ophela Pozos; and one brother, Sergio Marin.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Rhodes and her husband Chris of Little Rock, Arkansas; her stepdaughter, Tammy Ivy and her husband John of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother, Bulmaro Marin and his wife Marina of La Vigueta, Mexico; one sister, Mary Marin of La Vigueta, Mexico; a sister in law, June Duvall of Cave City, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Calvin Legend Rhodes (Lety called him Cho-Cho, it means Precious in Spanish) and Brenna Ivy; 3 nephews, Marcos Marin, Rodolfo Pozos and Beto Pozos; six nieces, Baneza Pozos, Lizbeth Salgado, Annabelle Salgado, Adriana Marin, Suzanna Marin and Kathy McLeod; along with other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City, Arkansas with John High officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
