James Garland Clements, 68, of Walnut Ridge, departed this life on Saturday, May 27, 2023. He was born in Imboden on September 8, 1954, to Emmett P. Clements and Florence Loane Clements.
During his working years, he was a factory worker with Waterloo Industries. He was of the Baptist Faith.
James enjoyed spending time with his wife and watching his great-grandchildren playing. He also enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willa Clements, his parents, his brothers, Rudy, Ezell, and Jerry Clements, and sisters, Wanda Holder and Sadie Flynt.
James is survived by his son, Michael Roberts, of Walnut Ridge; his brothers, Connie Clements, of Black Rock, and Lynn Clements, of Arlington, Tennessee; his sisters, Cordia Wildrick, of Anneville, Elsie Hausman, of Pocahontas, Shirley Mettles, of Alicia, and Letha Collins, of Alton, Missouri; grandchildren, Colton (Taylor) Roberts, of Hardy, Nicholas (Cerina) Roberts, of Cabot, and Amanda (Coty) Luther, of Walnut Ridge; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service, 2180 Batesville Blvd, in SouthsIde.
Burial will follow the service in the Kelly and Ford Cemetery, 651 Younger Access Road, in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.
Pallbearers will be Colton Roberts, Nicholas Roberts, Michael Roberts, Lynn Clements, Mike Ray, and Jim Brown.
