The Independence County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), led by Gary Stroud, recently conducted a fundraiser for the Independence County Shooting Sports Complex that collected over $8,000.
The monies will go directly into the county range fund to ensure area youth and adults will continue to have a place to pursue their shooting sports passion, Independence County Judge Kevin Jeffery said in a statement.
The NWTF Foundation Save the Range Shoot was held April 29.
