Janice Ann Sefton, 78, of Timbo, Arkansas departed this life to her heavenly home on June 28th, 2023 at The Blossoms in Mountain View, Arkansas surrounded by family and friends.
She was born October 14, 1944, in Mountain View, Arkansas to Thurlo and Inez Long. She married Guy Sefton, on July 15th, 1981 in Mountain View, Arkansas.

She worked for Nu Way Foods for over 17 years, White River Hoedown and Aunt Minnies Yellow House for over 13 years and Wilson’s Town & Country for 3 years, after retiring from working at Wilson’s in 2003 she spent her spare time working the elections, which she enjoyed doing because she got to see old friends and meet new people.

She enjoyed mowing, sitting on the front porch, shopping, day trips to Branson to eat at Cracker Barrel, and being a door greeter at Flatwoods Church, where she has been a member for the past 13 years. Janice went by many names such as mom, nanny, Grammy J, and the brownie lady but everyone called her a friend.

She is survived by her son, Scott Sefton, of Timbo, AR, daughter, Stefine Brown (Lee), of Timbo, AR, 4 grandchildren, Camary Dill (Nolan), Keaton Sefton (Kellee), Baylee Brown, and Rylee Brown; 3 great-grandchildren, Sawyer Dill, Charlotte Dill, and Oaklee Sefton; 3 stepchildren, Nathan Sefton, Paige Williams & Melanie Montalvo; with multiple step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren; a long-time friend of fifty years, Lynn Jackson, along with a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Guy Sefton, father Thurlo Long, and mother Inez Long.

A visitation will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 10 am followed by a funeral at 11 am, both at Flatwoods Baptist Church. Brother Randy Long, Brother Toby Crymes, and Brother Will Thompson will officiate the service. The interment will be at Big Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Stone County Community Center PO Box 1951 Mountain View, AR 72560.

Pallbearers are Toby Crymes, Bart Crymes, Daniel Crymes, Stacey Avey, Vida Smith, and Michael Diana.
Honorary Pallbearers are Kenneth Jackson, Dwain Crymes, Nolan Dill, Lee Hargrove, and James Holt.
