Mr. David Lee Vest of Oil Trough, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, June 30, 2023, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 55. He was born February 24, 1968, in Newport, Arkansas, the son of Raymond Vest and Earlene (Fuller) Vest.
David was a graduate of Oil Trough High School. He was a wonderful man who never knew a stranger. He loved horses and his little dog, Copper. David loved to see his grandkids. He taught them to rope, and how to backtalk their Mama.
David was a lifelong member of the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Vest and Earlene (Fuller) Vest; one sister, Janice Vest; and one brother, Bobby Vest.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole Cleveland Vest, of Mountain Home; one daughter, Allie Huey and wife Jamie, of Remmel; one son, Logan Vest, of Newark; four grandchildren, Hayden, Addi, Eric, and Sonny, all of Remmel; one brother, Ricky Vest and wife Karen, of Toledo, Ohio; a lifetime of special friends and family; and one very special lifelong friend, Pistol Carroll.
A life celebration visitation will be held Monday, July 3, 2023, at Jackson’s Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
