A man wanted by three counties and the Arkansas Parole Board has been apprehended in Searcy County.
According to the Searcy County Sheriff’s Department, Mason Alexander Grant, 34, was located after law enforcement received information he was living at a residence on Old Highway 27 in Marshall.
Warrants had been issued after authorities received information Grant (pictured) had been seen more than once at the residence. The department said Chief Deputy Ezra Pierce, Sheriff Kenny Cassell, Investigator Justin Flint, and other department members found Grant in a back room, hiding from law enforcement. He was taken into custody without incident.
Court information said Grant was a wanted felon and sex offender with a lengthy criminal history. In addition to the parole board, he’s wanted by the Baxter County Sheriff’s Department, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, and the Saline County Sheriff’s Department.
