Citizens Bank is welcoming a new executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO).
In his new role, Zach McCoy (pictured), the former senior vice president of corporate finance at Bank OZK, will oversee the financial management of the Batesville-based Citizens Bank and coordinate and prioritize initiatives in support of both strategic and financial goals.
“I am confident Zach McCoy will make an excellent addition to our executive team,” said Adam Mitchell, CEO and president of Citizens Bank. “His extensive experience in corporate finance and strategic mindset make him a strong fit for this role. We know his contributions will strengthen our financial operations and drive continued growth.”
McCoy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a major emphasis in accounting and finance and a minor in psychology, from the University of Central Arkansas. He is a certified public accountant (inactive) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
“This opportunity brings me back to Arkansas community banking and allows me to work with a team of skilled bankers who share a like-minded vision,” said McCoy. “I am excited to contribute to the growth of the organization as a whole while recognizing and promoting the efforts of our associates.”
