Noting she has demonstrated “exceptional skills and a commitment to excellence,” Citizens Bank recently announced the promotion of Clarinda Foote to senior vice president and chief administrative officer.

“Clarinda’s outstanding abilities have consistently impressed us at Citizens Bank,” said Adam Mitchell, president and CEO of Citizens Bank. “Her extensive knowledge of our organization, along with her unwavering dedication to our customers and community, make her an invaluable asset to our team.”

Foote will manage the administrative functions in support of the CEO, Citizens Bank, and Citizens Bancshares; oversee Board of Directors relations; and actively participate in various committees. As a member of the Senior Management Team, Foote will assume a broader role in shaping and implementing administrative policies and functions, the bank said in a release announcing Foote’s promotion.

“I am grateful for this opportunity to use my experience to contribute to the success of Citizens Bank,” said Foote. “It’s an honor to serve the community and our customers through an organization that intentionally and persistently adheres to its People First mission statement.”

Foote’s career includes serving as the vice president of administration and chief of staff at Lyon College; overseeing administrative functions; Board of Trustees relations; policy development and implementation; and serving on the President’s Cabinet. The release said Foote’s promotion reflects the bank’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent within the organization.

Foote has acquired professional certifications in administrative services management, Title IX, strategic planning, crisis management, disaster recovery, and risk management.

Active in the community, Foote is involved in both Citizens Bank’s Business Development and Community Engagement activities and initiatives. She supports causes such as Angel Tree, the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch, and the local school backpack program.

She served on the Lyon College Sesquicentennial Committee, has also served on United Way, as an Independence County 4-H leader, and as PTO president.
