At its monthly meeting coming up on Tuesday, the Southside City Council will hear a report on the new additions at Southside Schools.
Southside Schools Superintendent Dion Stevens will update council members on the construction that will begin at the junior high and high school’s campus in a few weeks.
The project results from the recent millage that passed in the school district.
Regular monthly reports and council business will follow.
The Southside Planning Commission will meet ahead of the city council on Tuesday. Mayor Ray Bowman says the primary item on the agenda will be a discussion of the city’s zoning code draft.
Both meetings will be held at Southside City Hall, located at 2181 Batesville Blvd., in Southside. The planning commission meeting begins at 5 p.m. The city council meets at 6 p.m.
