
Compass Church and Compass Women’s Ministry will help area students prepare for the upcoming school year with free “Back-to-School” events in Batesville, Southside, and Mountain View.
Free stuffed backpacks, haircuts, hot dog lunches, and free, gently used, donated clothing will be available for kindergarten through 12th-grade students. Organizers also say face painting, games, fellowship, and fun will be part of the festivities. The events will be held at the following locations on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
- Compass Church, 4440 Harrison St., in Batesville
- Stewart Field, Southside Schools, in Southside
- Stone County Fairgrounds in Mountain View
