The music of Elvis Presley will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Batesville Performing Arts Center as the Batesville Community Theatre (BCT) will present “An Evening with Elvis.”
Pres Ellis (aka Dr. Bill Shelton) and the Prestones will perform a variety of hits from Elvis Presley’s career on the stage of the new Performing Arts Center, located at 1295 Main St., in the Town Plaza Shopping Center, in Batesville. The performance begins at 7 p.m.
Ellis (pictured above, left), Prestones band leader Danny Dozier (far right), and BCT board member Tommie McDonald (center) recently joined Arkansas 103.3’s Wes Gwaltney on the “Slightly Scrambled” morning show to discuss the upcoming event.
Listen to their conversation below (with an instrumental introduction from Dozier).
Tickets for “An Evening with Elvis” are available at Citizens Bank, First Community Bank, and Merchants & Planters Bank. For more information, visit the BCT Facebook page by clicking here.
