Authorities say a domestic dispute in Cave City on Sunday afternoon led to the shooting of a woman and the death of her estranged husband by an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.
Authorities tell White River Now’s Gary Bridgman the victim was shot twice by her estranged husband, identified as Joseph Panariello, following the dispute.
Police say Joseph Panariello then went into a bedroom and turned the gun on himself. Bridgman says Joseph Panariello was rushed to White River Medical Center, where he died from the gunshot wound. Panariello’s wife, identified as Jade Panariello, was airlifted to a hospital where she is recovering.
