Obituary: Geri Webb

Geri Webb, 74, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at the Blossoms Nursing Home in Mountain View, Arkansas. Geri was born on July 12, 1949, in Mountain View, Arkansas to the late Frank and Vonnie (Williams) Trammell. Geri was of the Baptist faith. In March of 1975, Geri married her husband, Ozell Webb in Newnata, Arkansas where they got snowed in with both sets of parents. Geri was a people person who always had beautiful nails. She enjoyed cooking for people and loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved only grandchild, Christopher Webb. Geri and her “sister” Rhonda loved doing many things together including shopping, going to doctor appointments, eating at the Rainbow and talking every day. Geri learned to drive in 2000 and was extremely proud of getting her driver’s license and GED. She loved collecting teapots and was a hard worker. Geri worked at the White River Area on Aging, Stone County Medical Center, The Blossoms Nursing and Rehab, and Friendship Community Care Center; no matter what she did she took great pride in her work and always gave 110%. Geri will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Geri is survived by her only child, Phillip and his wife Melinda (Atchison) Webb of Brookland, Arkansas; her only beloved grandson, Christopher Webb and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends, as well as her best friend and cousin, Rhonda.

Geri is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Vonnie (Williams) Trammell; husband, Ozell Webb; one sister, Patsy Wrinkle, and one brother, Buddy Trammell.

A memorial service celebrating Geri’s life will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother Junior Barham and her son, Phillip Webb officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Webb, Joe Kelley, Angie Hudspeth, Rhonda Stewart, JE Webb, Earnest Kelley, and Michael Jordan.
