Virginia Lee Doyle McBride, 90, of Batesville, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023.
She was born June 25, 1933, in Stone County to Robert Lee Doyle and Ollie (Headrick) Doyle.
Virginia was a member of Salado Baptist Church and was a very independent person who enjoyed traveling. She worked at jobs including Little Rock Dermatology, Dr. Edward Jones, and Approve Home Health, and was a foster grandparent with school children.
Survivors include one daughter, Gina Strickland of Pensacola, Florida; two grandchildren, Andria Reymore and Marty Bullard; four great-grandchildren, Hadley Bullard, Mary Margaret Pridgen, David Reymore, and Daniel Reymore, as well as several nieces, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Norman Hester; second husband, Avner McBride; brothers, Ernest ”JT” Doyle, Jewell Doyle, Raymond Doyl, and sister, Inez Gower.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Egner Cemetery with Barrett Byers officiating.
