Sherry Lynn Thompson, 41, of Batesville, Arkansas, fell asleep in death, on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
She was born in Marysville, California, on March 29, 1982, the daughter of Damon Chisolm and Patricia Goodman. Sherry was united in marriage to Zachary Thompson on February 1, 2014, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Sherry loved her husband, Zach, and her daughter Summer, very much! This was evident to all in her daily life and conversation. Also, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she loved her great God, Jehovah and his Son, Jesus. She demonstrated this by her love and zeal in sharing with others the truth about God’s Kingdom. She had strong faith in the promise of how God’s Kingdom will make everything on earth new again, including raising our loved ones from death.
Sherry was known for being loving, generous, and kind. She would do anything for others. She also enjoyed photography, had a love for animals, and liked spending time with her family.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Zach Thompson of Batesville, Arkansas; daughter, Summer (Manny) Reyes of Malvern, Arkansas; parents, Damon Chisolm and Patricia Goodman; brother, Dylon Chisolm of Lexington, Kentucky; sisters, Leslie (Jason) Hampton of Star City, Arkansas, Ashley Brothers of Texas, Kristy (Joseph) Blackstock of Texas and Taylor Chisolm of Binghamton, New York; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and one grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Batesville, Arkansas.
