The Harkle Road Creek Bridge on Highway 9 in Fulton County is now open to one lane of traffic following a full closure to assess concerns from a bridge inspection.
The Arkansas Department of Transportation says drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area. A portable traffic signal has been installed on each end of the bridge to allow one lane of traffic to travel across the bridge.
The contractor estimates repair work to last approximately eight weeks, at which point the bridge is expected to fully reopen to two lanes of traffic.
