Alvin Eugene Thomas, 64, of Searcy passed from this life on Saturday, August 26, 2023. He was born on April 18, 1959, to L.H. Harris and Emmagene Thomas.
Alvin enjoyed being outdoors fishing, barbecuing, and riding around listening to music. He also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. The family was his most prized possession, he loved spending time with them more than anything. He was married to Ruth Ann for twenty-nine years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Daryl Neal.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Thomas of the home; his son, Anthony Quinn Neal of Searcy; his daughters, Renea Williams (Melvin) of Searcy, Alisa White (Rufus) of Sherwood, Marissa Crite (Jabace) of Searcy, Simone Robinson of Searcy; his brothers Carl Dewayne Hardaway, Milford Hardaway, Leotis Hardaway, Sylvester Hardaway, Nathaniel Hardaway, Tyrone Hardaway, Wille Harris (Brandy), Jeff Harris, Jimmy Harris (Roxana), Roger Harris, Lewis Harris, Phillip Harris (Susan), and Ira Foster; his sisters, Linda Harris, Shirley Steward (Ricky), Barbara Hanson (Nate), Linda Ika (Mike), and Marjorie Harris; seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a lifetime of friends.
