Rosalie Ann Ames, 83, passed away on August 30, 2023. She was born in Wellsville, New York, on October 23, 1939, to Louis and Roberta Arnold.
Rosalie was kind and caring. She had many hobbies and was a jack-of-all-trades. Rosalie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, fishing, working on cars, and drawing. She was also an avid reader. But most of all, she enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Rosalie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis Arnold and Roberta (Young) Arnold; son, Louis Charles Moore; brothers, Darwin Arnold, Ronald Arnold, and Gary Arnold; and grandson, Christopher Moore. She is survived by her sons, George Moore (Lula) of Batesville, Arkansas, Steven Moore of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Clayton Moore of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Patrick Ames of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Philip Ames of Prue, Oklahoma, and Matthew Ames of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters, Sherry Moore of Franklinville, New York, and Brandy Ames of Tulsa Oklahoma; brothers, Louis Arnold of New York; sister, Connie McAndrews of Wellsville, New York; as well as thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
